SaveTNet Cyber Safety aims to create awareness around responsible digital engagement and assist victims of online abuse with the support of national and international partners. 

1                 Acceptance of Terms

1.1            These Terms of use (Terms) are a binding agreement between you, the user, and us, SaveTNet.  By using this website, www.savetnet.com, (Website) or submitting a contact form you agree to these Terms.  If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Website or submit a contact form.

1.2            We may unilaterally change these Terms.  When changes are made, the amended Terms will be available on the Website.  It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with these Terms and check them regularly for any updates.

2                 Assistance from SaveTNet

2.1            We offer referrals to service providers who assist with online safety matters such as cyberbullying, digital harassment, cyber stalking, human trafficking, digital grooming, webcam issues, pornography, revenge pornography, online dating, hacked profiles and online reputation management.

2.2            If you need assistance, you will need to complete and submit a contact form, which includes details about your situation or you will supply the details via other communication channels such as email. 

2.3            Once you have completed and submitted your details we will contact with you with the recommended way forward and might connect you with our third party service providers who may be able to assist you. 

2.4            We require your permission to provide your details to the service providers so that they may contact you directly.  If you do not consent to us sharing your information with the service providers, we may be unable to assist you further.

2.5            Please complete the form as accurately as possible and sufficiently answer follow up questions we might have so that we can refer you to the appropriate service providers.

2.6            The use of our referral service is free of charge.  Depending on the circumstances, third party service providers may charge a fee for their services.  We are not responsible for the payment of any fees charged by a service provider and are not a party to or liable in connection with any agreement between you and a service provider.

2.7            While every effort is made to refer you to service providers who will provide you with assistance, we are not responsible for the level of service received from these service providers and cannot guarantee that your situation will be resolved.  We are also not liable for any actions or omissions by you or anyone else in connection with advice or assistance published on this Website or received from us or third party service providers.

3                 Other SaveTNet services

3.1            You are also able to contact us, by submitting a contact form, if you:

(1)             have a public relations or interview request;

(2)             would like to request a talk or education session from us;

(3)             would like to support us by offering services, products, financial support or

(4)             would like to share a message or story.  By sharing a message or story, you consent to us using it on the Website, in marketing material and educational initiatives.  If you do not want your identity to be shared, we will not do so.

3.2            We will contact you to discuss your request.

4                 Intellectual property

4.1            SaveTNet and our licensors retain all rights in intellectual property on the Website and in our communications with you, including copyright, trade marks (both names and logos) and registered domain names.

4.2            You may not use, copy or distribute any of this intellectual property without our prior written permission.

6.1            We do not warrant the availability of this Website at all times, including in cases where there is a connection interruption or the Website is undergoing maintenance or upgrades.

6.2            We do not warrant that the Website is free from errors and viruses or any other malware that has the ability to corrupt your computer or mobile device.  You are responsible for ensuring that your devices have appropriate anti-virus protection.

6.3            Information provided by other users or third parties on the Website may contain links to third party websites that are not owned or controlled by us.  We are not liable for any loss, damage or other liability arising from your use of any third party websites or for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party websites. 

6.4            We will take appropriate and reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information shared over the Website.  We cannot however guarantee the security of transmitting information online to us and you accept the risk of providing information through the Website.

11.2         Any illegal or unenforceable provision of these Terms may be severed and the remaining provisions of these Terms continue in force.

11.3         These Terms are governed by South African law.
